The Hallgren Company purchased the architectural door division of A. C. Houston Lumber
Company, Inc. in the summer of 1998. They have assumed projects-in-progress,
received extensive inventory from A.C. Houston, and increased staff so that
quality products and service will continue without interruption or delay. This
acquisition of A. C. Houston's door division, planned and controlled, is an
example of the innovative and forward thinking thrust of Hallgren's expansion
growth.
Acquiring A.C. Houston's door division and in-progress projects propels The
Hallgren Company into a leadership position. After 40 years, the door division
of A.C. Houston has been absorbed into The Hallgren Company of Nevada, thus
cementing their position as the premier provider of architectural doors, frames
and hardware in Nevada. With this acquisition, The Hallgren Company of Nevada,
with its newest 20,000 square-foot facility, boasts the largest inventory and
professional staff in the state.
